United Way Day of Action Children's Book Swap

United Way Day of Action is a strategic volunteer program created to help advance the common good

on issues of education, income and health. This year, Marshfield Area United Way will focus on education, and more specifically, early childhood literacy.

On Friday, June 21, 2013, Marshfield Area United Way will be holding a Children’s Book Swap at the Marshfield Mall (outside of Bath & Body Works) from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The book swap will allow children to freshen up their library by exchanging books they are finished reading for different ones they have not read yet.

Marshfield Area United Way is in need of donations of used children’s books for the swap. Please bring books to the Marshfield Area United Way office Monday, June 10, 2013, through Friday, June 20, 2013, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Books can also be brought to the Marshfield Mall on the day of the book swap, as well. Vouchers will be given to redeem books at the book swap for anyone interested that donates books prior to June 21st. Please call Marshfield Area United Way with any questions at 715-384-9992.
